The 36" x 60" Fire Blanket with Case is a safety device designed to extinguish small incipient (starting) fires by cutting off their oxygen supply. It consists of a sheet of fire retardant material which is placed over a fire in order to smother it or wrapped around an individual set on fire. This fire blanket is perfect for industrial plants, homes, schools, laboratories, welding shops, restaurants, boats, auto repair shops, hotels - anywhere small fires may occur.
Made of a NOMEX/Kevlar blend (65/35 Dupont), it is more effective than common wool-based fire blankets. There will be no mess to clean up and it will not melt, drip, burn or support combustion in the air. Single use only.
